David,

Here are a few rafting links that have classified bulletin boards. The occasional deal on Catarafts like you are talking about come up. You have to check them frequently, because the good deals go fast.

Hope this helps.
Tom

Subject: inflatable pontoon boats

Some friends and I are planning a float trip down the SF of the Snake this summer and I was looking for anybody to share their experience with pontoon boats. I was looking to buy a 16 foot boat or so with a hard floor. I looked over the archives and what I found dealt mostly with the smaller 1 man pontoon boats. I have looked at a few websites such as NRS, Maravia, Aire, and Fishcraft. I do have a pretty good idea on what I would like and need but the new ones are pretty spendy. I figured to spend some time looking for used ones and if nothing becomes available before crunch time, I'll guess I'll have to get a new one.
Anybody want to share their thoughts, opinions, experience etc. on the area or boat styles? Where is Jere when you need him?
