Although I was not able to get a line wet on my trip to central Oregon this last weekend, I did hear that the salmonfly hatch is on. Both salmonfly and golden stone patterns are producing. Just thought some of you that can drop what you are doing and go might be interested. Before heading down there, I would recommend calling the Maupin Fly Shop for an updated report.
I understand they are pretty thick, so if you go, you might want to pack a face bug net so you don't wind up eating salmonflies yourself... :) Terry
