Title: Re: Narrows report
Tim,

Great to hear there were candlefish around. I should have fished the Narrows today instead of the Snoqualmie. It was hard to resist, especially after catching a nice rosy-cheeked, eight pound hatchery buck yesterday morning on my first cast!

Maybe I'll go check out Doc's tomorrow morning.

We fished the ebb this morning from 7:30-10:30 at Doc's and did pretty well.  Within 3 casts I was into a my first silver of the day and thought we  would have a good salmon day.   Well, we had a good day on cutts instead though I did get one more silver in and had another big fish swirl me once. Jay also landed a small blackmouth.  Between the two of us we probably got 2 dozen cutthroat, the biggest I landed was about 15", not sure how big the biggest Jay got was.   All fish were on Olive Clousers, they didn't seem to want to come to the top.  There were about 10 million candlefish swimming up the beach too, I think the school stretched from one end to the other though very few predator fish seemed to be in them working, they still seemed to be out in the kelp.  My last cutt was on top slashing in the bait and I made about 4 casts to the area and got him.  A few salmon rolling when we first got there and then nothing and only one seal today.   All in all a pretty good morning out.  It was just a tough decision between hitting the beach and hitting the Snoqualmie on a nice overcast day.
