48 days on the water this year, including those beautiful evenings where I just got in
an hour or two. I'm single and a workaholic. I'd consider this year a bit on the
light side for me. I've had several years where I got in over 100 days.

Next year I'm trying to plan a 6 week vacation where I'll spend most of the time
fishing. If I can swing that, 2003 will be a good year.

Subject: Time spent fishing this year?

As a long-time subscriber to the theory that "Some is good, more is better and too
much is just right", I've fished 38 days so far this year. I wish it was a lot closer
to 100, but then I didn't bet the farm on Microsoft's IPO and haven't hit the lottery
yet, so work and family still consume a lot of potential fishing time.

How many days have you fished this year? How do you do it? How could you find/make
more time? How much is a 'lot' of fishing?
