I am taking a completely green, never before flyfished, friend of mine on an outing this week-end.  He's never caught any truly large trout (bigger than 18 inches) and never on a flyrod.  I am giving him a quick casting lesson today.  I was wondering two things: 1)  Is Lenice still open?  I believe it is open until the end of November, right??  So, we could legally fish it Friday and Saturday??  2)  I read recent reports about the fishing being pretty good there lately.  I have only fished Lenice twice and have used a variety of techniques to hook fish.  But, I was thinking of putting my friend in a float tube with a #10 black woolly bugger on a sinking tip line and having him paddle around.  Recent reports have indicated small leeches have been producing fish.  How have you guys/gals been fishing them, on what type of line, at what time of day, what flies, color, and where in the lake??  I need to get this guy into a couple of good fish.  I want him to get hooked on flyfishing so I can pursuade him to come with me more often.  He's a good friend but we have never really shared much in common in the outdoors.  We're both school teachers and I enjoy his company, and would like it if he found as much or more pleasure in catching and releasing rainbows and browns on the fly versus bait plunking at the local put and take lakes.  Would appreciate any info and PROMISE to give you guys a full report.  Happy Thanksgiving All,  Thanks, Jeff
