My favorite sea run fly is a Jim Dandy (aka snot dart). Size 4-6, orange thread, light tan or apricot marabou 1-1.5 times body length tail, copper rib, light orange floss body over silver mylar with a small ball of orange dubbing behind a small to med. sized brass conehead. The retrieve that I've found to work good/best is a pull of about 8" followed by 2 short pulls in the same distance. I usually strip with just with just wrist action with the above retrieve. Darin
