I am interested in finding that site on Tenkara.  Do you have a correction on that addy?
Also, I remember reading, on another site, of another remarkable American flyfisher of Japanese ancestry.
A story of the ultimate trout bum, it had to do with a Japaneze American who was in the internment camp in the Owens Valley . . . or was it Lone Pine . . . in California, during WWII.
This guy fashioned a flyrod, line, and tied flies from materials available in the camp, then made "excursions" outside to do a little flyfishing.  As I recall, he even smuggled his catch back into the camp for the enjoyment of the other "residents".  Now that gives a new meaning to the concept of a "roadtrip".
Anyone on the board have any details of this story?
