Hi fellow listers, My name is Paul and I live in Hoorn in the Netherlands. I am 43 years old, started fishing at the age of 6 and flyfishing 6 years ago. My flyfishing experience covers (parts of) Germany, Belgium, Austria and the Netherlands of course. In Holland one of my main targets is pike.
You must be thinking what does someone from Holland want on our list. The reason in simple: I, together with a couple of friends, want to visit Washington State next year, to meet some friends (Hi Don, I know you're on this list too) and to do some flyfishing. This list and its members looks perfect to get the right information to prepare our trip. Allthough 2004 seems far away we already have a couple of questions for you of which we hope your answers will help us with our preparation of the trip. We will be in Washington late september for about 7 or 8 days and we want to fish for trout and steelhead: which rivers or lakes would you recommend? what gear should we bring with us? what licenses do we need and how to get them?
