Welcome to the list Paul! September is my favorite time of year. Later in the month they usually drop the flows on the Yakima River and the fishing becomes phenominal. Another thing you might enjoy reading is the report by Hugh Pastoriza and Seth Taylor at http://www.creeksideangling.com/reports.htm. These guys work for one of our local fly shops and do a very good job of compiling the reports they hear from their customers. I hope you enjoy your time here next year! :)

Allthough 2004 seems far away we already have a couple of questions for you of which we hope your answers will help us with our preparation of the trip. We will be in Washington late september for about 7 or 8 days and we want to fish for trout and steelhead: which rivers or lakes would you recommend? what gear should we bring with us? what licenses do we need and how to get them?
