I was out on the Sky today for about 3 hours fishing the area up above the Cracker Bar.
The Sultan River is barfing out mud. It looked pretty bad below there. I spoke to a number of guys fishing, including one guide in a jet, and everyone was having a tough day with fish. Apparently a couple of guys did catch fish near daybreak on the Cracker Bar. I fished the run twice, once with my sink tip, and once with a extra fast sinking shooting head. Basically, the lack of success by all is what shortened my day. -- In my family there was no clear line between religion and fly fishing. Norman Maclean
