These rods (or at least the blanks) are made in China. I haven't seen one, but I've heard reports over the past couple of years that there were lots of problems with these rods - reel seats too small, glue lines, poorly installed ferrules, bad varnish, etc... Maybe they've improved, and the price is sure low, but I wouldn't expect the same kind of quality & service you'd get from most US Rodmakers.
