Tim,
I'm catching up with mail and saw your detailed Exuma report, the bone was a beauty. I've fished the Bahamas twice, both times over Christmas and bad weather was a problem on each trip. On one trip I was only able to fish 2 of 6 days because of high winds and heavy rain. I had a bit of a hassle with Frontiers over a partial refund because my guide refused to take me anywhere except the open water that was unfishable. I would have fished for rockfish but he only knew how to fish bonefish in the one area. They had assigned me a young kid who was the only guide working and he was not an experienced fisherman. Ultimately I got half my money back and have had numerous good trips with them since. The trip I made to Pelican Bay out of Freeport was better weather, but clouds were a problem. We spotted some monster bones, but about the time I would be ready to cast the clouds would move in. My best fish there was a 27 incher, but I saw much bigger ones.
