Rock creek should be quite good right about now. If you're into stillwater fishing, Georgetown Lake is fun. I personally prefer to fish Rock Creek after the bulk of the salmon fly hatch is done. The crowds are diminished and the fish will still take a salmon fly imitation pretty frequently.
You will not find the Bighorn near Butte, but you will find the Bighole. Great if somewhat moody river. Don't forget your beadheads if you fish the Bighole. The drought in this area is so bad they have already closed the upper Bighole to all fishing. The Beaverhead can be a real zoo if the PMDs have started. Poindexter is a slow moving spring creek. It can be fun if you hit it right. Access to the Red Rock was always a problem for me so I can't give you an opinion. You might consider the Bighorn as you get further east. Mostly a boat show. Shuttles are available in Fort Smith. Loads of fish. Loads of people.
