Title: Douglas Ranch fishing
I'll be fishing one of the Douglas lakes (Stoney as I recall) for the first time on Friday morning. My 9 year old gets to go too...so we're both excited. Since I'm a stream fisherman vs. lake (save the occasional drag the wolley bugger behind the boat with my kids trip), I'm a novice in a pond. I know they have bugs I can buy up at the Ranch. But, I'm not sure of the set up. I've got a floating line, plus a sink tip section I can put on. Do I need full sink tip? I would assume the fish are fairly deep since the weather can get quite warm. Any quick tips that will help the trip be more successful will be appreciated. Thanks.
