E.g. The few times I went out last December the guides on my rod were constantly freezing up, I heard that you can spray a little WD40 on them to keep the guides free of ice. I know that when I go lake fishing I make up a hot thermos of Gatorade to keep the blood from freezing. I'd be interested to hear what the rest of you do. MS
