I don't seem to have any problems with frozen guides on my 
two-handers. In fact, other than the obvious things like keeping warm 
and dry, I try to have a good, hearty breakfast. I make the days 
short and concentrated, rather than long and boring, and never feel 
the need to fish with anything but a fly.
