Sorry to hear about the theft. Having been through the same thing at Lenice a
few years ago, I feel your pain. It seems this type of thing is happening more
often. Most of it has to due with the huge meth problem that is going on in
this state. The tweakers will steal just about anything they can to trade or
sell for cash or drugs. The problems has become so bad that the state even post
meth labs as a potential outdoor hazard along with falling, rattlesnakes,
drowning, ticks etc on the bulletin board at Coffeepot Lake.
You should post what happened on as many other fishing web-sites as well. The
more that folks know what is happening, the more eyes will be on the lookout
for this kind of activity.
I hope your buddy gets his vehicle back soon.
