'Gossamer' is thread in a size similar to 8/0

'Naples' is a bit stouter, more like 6/0.

'Marabou' is 10 strands and is used for building larger bodies

'Tag and Body' is a multi strand floss of a much larger size, similar in size to my Berlin Wool

Stout is a heavier multi strand thread.

 

I have some of each here and will happily send you some samples if you want to play with some.
