My wife left town last Friday and I finished up the current web project I was working on so I’ve been a fishing fool all week long, kind of hitting everything that swims.  So far I’ve managed to catch trout, sea-run cutts, cohos, and bass.

Last Friday – South Fork Snoqualmie.  I fished the stretch at Twin Falls State Park for a few hours in the afternoon getting quite a few fish on a #14 Yellow Stimulator.  Nothing big but with a 6’ 3-weight they feel that way.

Saturday – Steelheading on the Snoqualmie.  Nada but my spey casting keeps getting better for when the fish do show up.

Sunday – South Sound.  Hit the end of the ebb that morning and did pretty well.  I got three silvers, the biggest was about a 5 lbs. fish, one went about 2-3 lbs. and I got one dink.

Monday – bass fishing a local lake.  Hit the lake in the evening and got a few dozen smallish bass, nothing over 12”.

Today – South Sound.  Back again this morning and fished the ebb for 2.5 hours at the Narrows.  I got about a half dozen sea-runs.  I saw silvers but couldn’t interest any of them.  I had one fish working actively on bait and got casts right to him but just couldn’t buy a hit.

Tomorrow – Cedar.  I’m going to hit it again, it has been treating me pretty well this summer.
