Hi Jon

When I got my G4 there was a driver or extention or something that had to be installed to make photoshop play nice with the velocity engine. Bit hazy on the details but apple centre guys should know. Or Apple web site.

Hi there

Is anyone familiar with the following problem?
In Photoshop, when using the clone, airbrush, rubber, blur, dodge, burn
tools, the application freezes with no recourse other than to hit the
restart (on a G4). It works awhile, then freezes. I have tried PS5.5 and PS6 but it still does it. I have been using 9.04 and now trying 9.1 to see if it
persists.
It seems to happen when I use tools that are RAM hungry. I have tried
setting the memory on PS to 150000 or 200000 or higher but to no avail.
I am using a G4/400 with 448Mb RAM.

I have clean installed etc etc etc.
Does anyone know this very annoying PS glitch? I would love to nail this on
the head.

Cheers
Jon
