I'd like to add Computer Trade Centre to the list of good service places. I
recently had to have the hard disk in my iMac 350 replaced for the second
time. Apparently, the Philips chip which controls the motor is faulty and
this is the second HD I've had in not quite 2 years of ownership.
Tony at CTA did a quick job and most importantly managed to get the data
off and on to the new IBM HD.
I would be very sceptical that Apple Australia would do anything better with
RA. They don't seem to be in touch with the users and they don't appreciate
what loyalty the Mac has inspired. But loyalty is a 2 way street.
