I wont be using an actual airport base station. But rather using Apple's
Software Base Station or IP Net Router.

The downside of this is that the computer running the routing software
always has to be on. If it crashes you lose the connection on all of the
other computers until it is restored.

With a hardware router you don¹t need to have a computer running constantly
because the routing is handled by the router rather than the software on the
computer.

Anyway I'll let everyone know how it turns out. I'm sure it will work fine.

As for costs:

€ADSL DSL300 - $249 (modified with auto authentication by DLINK for iiNet
*apparently*)
€512/128 (paid quartely in advance @ 79.95/month) - 4mnths - $319.8
€Install fee - $99

All up for 4 months - $667.8

It's still quite expensive. And if you don¹t have/want a credit card then
forget iiNet because they will not allow you to have an account without one.

Regards,
scott
