Hello Wamugers!
I've just rejoined the group after a temporary absence and seek
help with a strange problem as described in subject..
It is not a system "Freeze"-more like a Pause or delayed
response that occurs frequently and irregularly .The mouse
pointer still moves but there can be a delayed response of
between 3 -15 seconds .This is very irritating when I'm in the
middle of a drawing project or composing an email.The"Glitch"
whatever it is,self corrects after several seconds (It's doing it as I
write this!)
The problem dissappeared when I ran OS10 but I have been
forced to return to OS9.2 as my computer doesn't cope with
OS10 very well (iMac 333-meg Ram256)
The problem occurs in all programmes -Freehand8 Photoshop5
Word - Outlook Express-Internet Explorer .
I'm not running any "Quirky"stuff and I useDisc Warrior regularly.
I'm not a technophile but do have a basic knowledge of how it all
works .I'm stumped!
Any one got any advice or clues? HELLLPPPPP!
