Hello Wamugers! I've just rejoined the group after a temporary absence and seek help with a strange problem as described in subject.. It is not a system "Freeze"-more like a Pause or delayed response that occurs frequently and irregularly .The mouse pointer still moves but there can be a delayed response of between 3 -15 seconds .This is very irritating when I'm in the middle of a drawing project or composing an email.The"Glitch" whatever it is,self corrects after several seconds (It's doing it as I write this!) The problem dissappeared when I ran OS10 but I have been forced to return to OS9.2 as my computer doesn't cope with OS10 very well (iMac 333-meg Ram256) The problem occurs in all programmes -Freehand8 Photoshop5 Word - Outlook Express-Internet Explorer . I'm not running any "Quirky"stuff and I useDisc Warrior regularly. I'm not a technophile but do have a basic knowledge of how it all works .I'm stumped! Any one got any advice or clues? HELLLPPPPP! Try unplugging anything on the USB bus other than the mouse and keyboard and see if the problem persists. Of course if that's all you've got plugged in, that's obviously not the problem :)
