Since I loaded Mac 10.2 onto my new imac, and the Palm 4 upgrade I have had trouble synching my husband's Palm. Someone suggested Isync, but that did not work (would not update, and lost a lot of data).
Two things happen 1) the desktop software won't open the user files. When you shift from none to the user name, the boxes of info appear then disappear. If I point to open in the file menu the same thing happens. I can force it to open by opening the archive files, but it doesn't hold. 2) the synch doesn't verify, the log indicates "system error" and the files (when I open them) are not updated) What is peculiar is that the synching has worked a couple of times, but now just refuses. As we shifted from PCs after 12 years so that my husband would find using a computer easier, I would really like an answer. (He had no trouble synching with Windows!) Rosemary Horton
