weirdness!!!
I've just done a service job on a mac running OS 10.1.? that was set
up by someone else with the owner/user as the install process
Administrator and then a second account called "Administrator" added
with "allow user to administer this computer".
At a later point in time the users account had the "allow user to
administer this computer" option deselected and then at later point
in time reselected to "allow user to administer this computer".
interestingly now nether user seems to have full administration
rights (so for example "administrator"user can not see the
owner/users home folder content and the owner/user can not see the
"administrator" accounts home directory content.)
Is there a way to make ether or both accounts a "proper"
administrator or create a new "proper" administrator account? or
should I <shudder> make ether of them "root"?
Have accessed apple tech support but only have information on giving
an account root access that I already know how to do anyway.
