after some discussion with TelstraBroadband I have the official line
that four port Alcatel broadband modems via Telstra are not supported.
They gave me a one port modem.
What I need to do is have four home computers hitting the web at the
same time -when the kids come home.
Can anyone point me in the direction of a good router router/modem at
reasonable prices/
If I can cut costs and work with the alcatel modem that is fine, it
just means more cables. I have seen some Belkin and Netgear router
route/rmodems in Officeworks around the upper $200 mark
