Hi all, Has anyone noticed erratic behaviour with Telstra Bigpond Mail recently. Over the last week or so (I'm not sure exactly when I first noticed it) I seem to be getting a lot of mail error messages. The message I get (I run Outlook Express) when I "get info" from the error log is:
Error Could not retrieve mail from the account "Neil Houghton". Explanation The server returned the following error local error; please try again later (AU). Error: 7002 The error seems to be short term since I have OE set to check for mail every 10 mins and I don't get a string of consecutive errors. Also often if I run send and receive immediately after an error it will run OK, though sometimes it takes two or three tries. >From the error message it would seem that the problem is at Telstra's end? But as I say, the problem is quite frequent now whereas up until a week or so ago I never (or almost never that I remember) saw it.
