Hi SeverinMy TiBook did this recently and with much appreciated help from Daniel Kerr, we finally found the culprit was fax software running, unknown to me, in the back ground. To check if this is happening on your's, go to Applications, Utilities, Process Viewer and end of the process of anything with the word fax in it.
