Like the eMac I am working on here, there are 2 OS X CDs plus 3 restore CDs. The restore CDs contain OS 9 plus the programs that come with the machine. The disks are run in OS X. Since your machine did not ship with that style restore CD, then you may have to try another option. Do you know anyone that has a bootable Firewire drive that has OS 9 on it? You may be able to boot off that then run the OS 9 installers from the CDs (as you are not booting off the drive that you want to install OS 9 to). Other than that.......backup your drive, wipe it and start again :-) Seeya Rod!
