Hi All,
I mounted a network share on my iBook this morning and did some work
and it was all good. I then trashed the mount to unmount it. About 10
minutes later someone came in and asked me to do something for them
that was located on the same mount, so I repeated my earlier steps, but
no mount point was listed in the finder? I tried this a few times and
each time gave me the same thing, no error and no mount point.
Finally I looked in terminal and found that the network share was
already mounted!! I unmounted it manually and tried mounting again and
finally I had a mount point in my finder, but it only stayed there for
about 30 seconds before disappearing again, but was still listed in my
terminal as mounted!!
Is there a bug with finder that I haven't heard of or is this just
something weird with my system?
