the list, regarding a low cost cost laser printer suitable for OSX

After researching the various online suppliers (Officeworks, Harris,
Harvey Norman etc etc) I finally purchased a Brother HL1430 laser
printer for the excellent price of $299 (it is on "special"!) from
Viking

It should be noted that purchases from Viking require an ABN number.
