Ah, yes, I was also surprised to see such tasty bargains on eBay the other day. They were actually closed auctions, you couldn¹t bid on them without pre-approval. I emailed the seller to see what the deal was, and I got the same garbage email that you got. I went back the same afternoon and eBay had closed this and about 5 other dodgy auctions. Another person was selling a G4 Powerbook, top of the range, for about AU$1700, and you could buy it straight away! If only you could really get Powerbooks at that price =(
