Thanks Keith,

but

It is formatted Apple extended

and I need to go to MS-Dos .

The Disk Utility with OS9.2.2 is DRIVE SETUP 2.0.7

This is on an iMac, and the iMac recognises the Thumb
and Drive setup also recognises the drive but says " unsupported "
so there are no options to format.

Hi Bob

You should just be able to do this in Apple's Disk Utility simply by selecting MS-DOS File System.

Due to a set of special circumstances I let my 128MB Thumb Disk
be reformatted to Mac OS Extended to overcome a problem.

Now I wish to reformat it back so that it can be seen on a PC as well as
the Mac.

Of course I did think the machine that formatted it to "Mac only" would be able to do that.
Does not seem to be possible.

Does anybody know what I can use to do this Format please ?

Bob
