Hi everyone
I have developed a problem with my ibook. The battery is not
recognised by the computer and therefore will not function without
using external power. It will shutdown when I remove the power plug.
The battery menu has a cross over it and after shutting down, taking
the battery out, reinserting it and then restarting the ibook. The
battery will still not be recognised.
The ibook is 800 Mhz G3 [bought December 02] 640 Mhz of RAM
A few days ago I
1. I have installed an airport card
2. I have also upgraded to panther
3. I did a software update upgrading the system to 10.3.2
How can I diagnose what the problem is ie software vs hardware? and
then what do I do to fix it?
