G'day all.
I'm brand new to the mailing list and thought that some people may be able to benefit from my experience. For the last 4 months we've been pulling our hair out trying to burn DVDs with iDVD on our new G5, dual 1.8. The people at the place we bought it from were much less into after sales service than they had told us they were. (not sure about the political correctness of sinking the boots into a shop on this list, so I'll leave that out for now). Anyway after many trips back to the store and lots of phone calls and lots of stress, we took our machine to Artref. They promptly told us the problem was probably to do with the extra RAM we had installed. Then they fixed the machine. It was covered by warranty and we were home and burning perfect DVDs the same day. Oh yeh, the symptoms were pixels appearing when the DVD was played back.

So, thankyou to Artref, in particular Joel, and be very cautious the next time a shop tells you that they are the----- best in town---- for after sales service.
