I had tried both of these suggestions & Security Update 2004-09-07 was
still showing in Software Update.
So I Shutdown my iBook, went & did some gardening ..... when I returned
and booted up my iBook, checked Software Update and Security Update
2004-09-07 v.1.1 was no longer showing.
Whether it was shutting my computer down instead of Restarting .... or
whether it just needed time ????
Weird huh !

I've seen two suggested workarounds in the comments section of the
above site which may or may not work for you.
1. Repair permissions using Disk Utility.
2. "I also found that the update was still listed in Software Update
after it
appeared to have been successfully installed. After re-installation
using the client version of the upgrade that was download from the
Apple support site it was no longer listed in Software Update".
