ical and address book

Hi list

Im in the middle of changing from a desktop to a powerbook as my main 
mac and Im not sure how to transfer all my ical and address book 
contents to the new system. Can someone please advise me so I can 
continue to use all my addresses and access previous ical entries. I 
have done all my mail in and out, via library in users. Unfortunately 
ical does not have the same. I think Address book does but am not sure
