Hi James

Thanks for the advice with address book. For others interested, I found it is the same for ical. You can export your selected calander out as a specific ical file and transfer that to the new computer. Open ical on the new computer and import this file, and you have a duplicate of your calendar from the other machine.

kind regards and many thanks

chris

You can export from Address book to vcard or back up and then import. Don't know about iCal unfortunately.

Hi list

Im in the middle of changing from a desktop to a powerbook as my main mac and Im not sure how to transfer all my ical and address book contents to the new system. Can someone please advise me so I can continue to use all my addresses and access previous ical entries. I have done all my mail in and out, via library in users. Unfortunately ical does not have the same. I think Address book does but am not sure

many thanks to your help
