Hi, I have created various files on a PC in Word they are tables that are templates of Census return forms.

In the originals they have been created in landscape and the table cover the entire page. The top box the header contains the title and covers the entire width of the table then underneath there are 3 rows of smaller subtitle boxes of various sizes that cover the width and from these 15 columns of various width in 16 uniform rows. At the bottom there are two columns that again cover the entire width and two rows deep.

I have sent them to my iMac and when I open them, they are Three pages , in landscape.

On first page the entire table is squeezed into the LHS quarter of the page, into 10 columns, the header is in a box about 1 inch high and a quarter of an inch wide. This page then has about 80% of the title boxes. (The other 20% is missing)

The second page has two columns when it should have 15 one half in solid border lines the other in dotted lines. The whole table was created in solid lines. At the bottom of the page are the two columns described at the end of the second paragraph and these are in the correct format!

There is nothing on the Third page.

Does anyone have any idea as to how I can open these files and get them to appear as they should?

I have had the same problem with .xls sheets but I can't describe the mess they are in.

Thanks.

Matt Falvey.
