"BigPond has released its updated broadband plans, with a focus on higher usage plans and telephone bundling.

The new plans match those leaked to Whirlpool last week. The main changes include a reduction in the number of low usage plans, price drops, and substantial discounts for those who preselect Telstra for both their local and long-distance telephone services.

As normal, Telstra is not expected to migrate customers to the new, better value, plans automatically, so BigPond customers must request a change to the new plans to benefit from the new pricing".

My 512/128 unlimited downloads plan has dropped from $89.95 to $69.95 ... a not inconsiderable reduction.
