I think its more of a case that it is relatively cheap to implement for Telstra when compared to rolling out new cable.

Most of the cost would in fact be borne by the customer

Imagine this, most buildings in outer suburbs having little dishes on their roofs ( or cars) - just like the Jetsons

do you think the local shires would be happy with little dishes affecting their streetscapes!
