If anyone knows of any Package for mac that is as good as Protel
99SE and can let me come over and have a play, I may be able to dump
M$ windows for ever and turn my PC's into servers ;)
Kat.
I don't know about 'as good as Protel', but there was this on
Macintouch the other day
ADsoft released the first Mac OS X version of its EAGLE Layout
Editor, a printed circuit board design tool. The software, which
requires the use of Apple's X11 window manager, offers up to 16
signal layers, undo/redo for any editing command to any depth,
electrical rule check, an integrated text editor, a full set of
parts libraries, and much more. The EAGLE Layout Editor is available
in Light, Standard, and Professional versions with prices ranging
from $49 to $399. It runs on Mac OS X 10.3 with X11, Linux kernel
2.x and up, and Windows.

I also tried out Darwine recently. Bizarre seeing the Windows RegEdit
app running on your Mac under X11... I expect that Protel (or at
least Access) probably won't work, sadly, but it might be worth a try.

Have fun,
