Apple releases Bluetooth Firmware Updater 1.2
Apple has posted Bluetooth Firmware Updater 1.2 for D-Link USB Adapters
(revision B2 or later), and Apple internal Bluetooth modules on
PowerBooks and PowerMacs.
The new release provides improvements in the update installation
process and improved performance and reliability. Apple says the update
will also improve connectivity between the computer and the Apple
Wireless Keyboard and Mouse.
Also of important note: applying this firmware updater to a D-Link USB
to Bluetooth adapter will make it incompatible with non-Macintosh
systems.
The update is available as a 1.3 MB download from Apple's Web site and
through Software Update. When applying the release through Software
Update, the Apple Bluetooth Module will be placed in the
Applications/Utilities folder. Double click the installer and follow
the on screen directions.
