17" Powerbook

Hi Folks,
I’m tentatively looking for a late model top of the range
17” Powerbook (2nd Hand if possible) that will be equipped
with all the additional features & software to edit Digital
Video & burn to DVD disc, also to record Voice Overs on the
road. I’ll be running Pro Tools (have that). 
If anyone has one for sale at a sensible price or can
suggest anything I’d be grateful.
Otherwise I’ll probably wait for the G5 (when they solve the
heat problem???) & then everyone will be upgrading so there
will be a few around.
Is there any further word on the progress re G5’s & the
problem solving in relation to the heat factor? I expect it
will be sometime?

Perhaps some of our Mac Retailers can give me price on a new
one also?
