Malcolm We got one that connected to an external aerial which we mounted on the roof rack. It extended our range considerably (20 -40 km). (spoke to the boys in Perth from the beach at Warroora!!) They claim that almost all new cdma s do plug in to aerials now, but when we bought only the nokia one did. Unfortunately I could not get it to dial the Internet for me!!! So we had to buy a cheap normal phone just to dial my laptop onto the net to do email etc. Rod
