Hi Everyone
In their recent catalogue, Australia Post advertise Imation USB
Flash Drives at $49 for 128 MB and $79 for 256 MB.. I was thinking
of getting the 256 MB one.
Comments on the Net about the product's speed etc seem good and the
price fair.
Is anyone aware of any adverse reports ? I remember one being
demonstrated at a WAMUG meeting a couple of years ago so it's
probably 'old' technology now. Possibly you would download to an
iPod.
TIA for any advice.
Regards
John
Look around first I saw "The Good Guys" and Office works catalogues
that had them quite cheap - USB thumb drives are sort of much of a
muchness I find staff here using every brand under the sun with the
only complaints tending to be about loosing the plug cap so maybe
look at one with some sort of retaining the cap.
My self, apart from my iPod, I use a compact flash card reader and a
spare CF cards from my camera, you can get 512 Mb and 1Gb CF cards
quite a bit cheaper than equivalent sized thumb drives
