Hi wamug I'm stumped!
I know I have done this before but I cant seem to do it now :( OSX can see two win2000 boxes but not the reverse. OSX is a new install. It has Windows Sharing enabled, no firewall, everyone is on the same subnet and Workgroup(set in Directory Access). The username/password is the same on all three. When I search from the PC for the OSX box, it does not show up. If I type its actual address into the PC a minimal login window appears titled 'Enter Network Password' with the message 'Incorrect password or unknown username for' above two username and password fields, if I use this login window it fails and simply reloads itself. By the way the two PCs see each other. I tried searching the wamug archives but found it quite unproductive with the search terms I tried, such as 'windows', 'network', 'cannot connect' etc. I know this subject has been dealt with in the past on this list so I hoped I could find it in the archives, no luck however so apologies if this bores anyone, again.
