Hi All,
For all crossword enthusiast, or cheaters, try this little gem that I
picked
up from the latest issue of Inside Mac Radio. ... On your system,
10.2 and
greater I think, you have a Webster dictionary that you access via
the the
Terminal app. The Webster dictionary, web2, is located in
/usr/share/dict
and by using the Unix grep command you can search for a word.
This is quite handy for someone who is as useless at crosswords as
myself! I
just put together the same thing, but with a user interface. If
anybody's
game to try it on their machine, it can be found at:

Thank you Andrew ... you now belong to MVUF list ('My Very Useful
Friends')!!!
I just have to .... I mean .... just have to 'Cheat' doing crosswords,
(I also cheat at cards).
This is a very useful 'Tool' for me.
Thanks again. Perhaps with your 'Tool', I might eventually complete a
crossword.
Cheers,
Ronni
When Microsoft asks you, "Where do you want to go today?" Tell them,
"Apple!"
