I initially bought a 4-port Belkin USB 2.0 Hub for my G5 last year, in Feb 04, and had the exact same problem as you are describing. The shop replaced it with another Belkin of the same model (forgot which one), but it also exhibited the same problems. I had to unplug the Hub from the computer and re-plugging it in would solve the problem. Seing 2 of those had the same problems I requested a refund, which by the way, the dealer made a 'song and dance' before giving it! I eventually purchased a Macgear Hub from Daniel Kerr and have had no problem. Also, Big-W are selling an Acrox 4-port powered USB2 Hub for $23.95, and I know someone who bought one and it works without any problems. I'd suggest you return the Hub back and ask either for a replacement or for a different brand. Regards, Philippe
